THE BERRY INTERESTING PROPERTY MARKET REPORT
The spring season has officially finished with a few last minute sales to add to the season tally.
Sales for Spring 2018:
* Residential = 3
* Acreage (one acre +) = 13
* Land = 1
We are seeing new buyers entering the market every week, mainly from south and eastern suburbs of Sydney and still quite a few from the Illawarra. Value for money in this market continues to be in small acreage and lifestyle properties close to town.
Land buyers have plenty to chose from, with currently 25 blocks on the market including developer stock on The Ridge. Building work in Huntingdale Park Estate was a tad quiet last week with Berry seeing a few extra inches of rain and some very strong wind gusts.
On the subject of wind and rain, a lot of homeowners have been attending to fallen tree branches and other minor repairs to their home. Local garden maintenance contractors have had plenty of work on their hands. On the subject of maintenance, below we will hear from Ben Monaghan from Jim’s Building & Pest Inspections.
