BACK IN FULL SWING

We’ve had a couple of weeks downtime this month, but we are back at full capacity and raring to go.

By contrast, the property market in Berry has showed little sign of slowing down. However, while the market remains buoyant, price guides are harder to pick than a broken lock. Recent sale prices have shown huge variation. A few very obvious low-priced transactions in the Berry area have proven somewhat confusing for buyers. These sales can be attributed to out-of-area agents, with more limited knowledge of the area and the local market.

If you are thinking of selling, we would strongly encourage you to choose a local agent. All Berry agents understand the region extremely well. We should also know our current buyers requirements. In turn it is our responsibility as agents to educate buyers and provide the appropriate lifestyle information to ensure newcomers make informed decisions and maximise their experience of this wonderful town and surrounds.

There have been 30 recorded sales in the Berry Region since the 1st February this year. Just over a third of the properties sold were in the acreage sector. There were no land sales in this period.

There is still significant demand for rental accommodation in Berry and across the region, with property investors sitting in a strong position.
