BERRY PROPERTY MARKET SNAPSHOT

Berry’s property market has continued to perform well despite the rollercoaster that has been 2020. There have been quite a number of sales since the 1st of September this year.

Residential sales within the township have taken pole position with 12 sales for the period. Small acreage properties are still in high demand, recording a higher turnover than normal for the period. Vacant land is still a popular option although stock levels are currently low.

Also of note are the few recent off-market properties that were snapped up before they hit the official market.

BUYER SNAPSHOT

Our current buyer pool for Berry has many facets. Generally speaking, Berry buyers are primarily Sydney-siders planning retirement, or semi-retirees planning for the future, in addition to locals downsizing from larger acreage, and the normal lifestyle transactions.

While we are still see these buyers, there is also a steady stream of first home buyers, a mass of investors and an influx of middle-aged buyers who are seeking to work from home in our new COVID economy.
